No card, no problem!
Access hundreds of thousands of digital books, online courses, and magazines from the comfort of home. These resources are available 24 hours a day from any internet-connected devices.
The Alachua County Library District is partnering with our eBook vendor to provide access to digital books and audiobooks to Alachua County residents who do not have library cards.
Community members can visit www.aclib.us/OverDrive and enter their mobile phone number to register for OverDrive.
After registering, users can download the appropriate app to their smartphones or tablet to access more than 77,000 titles on 132 different topics, including children and teen books. Visit www.aclib.us/ebook-help for instruction to download the Libby and OverDrive apps to read or listen to books on tablets and phones.
Access to these resources will continue through June 30. After that date, participants will be invited to register for a regular library card.
Library District branches are closed through Sunday, March 29 and scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 30. All programs are suspended through April 30. For the latest information from the Library District, please visit www.aclib.us/coronavirus.
